How can Promotional Video Marketing help my company?

-

Video Marketing has been experiencing a huge increase over the last three years, and continues to grow.

According to Wyzowl’s “State of Video Marketing 2016” report, 61% of businesses were using video marketing as a marketing tool. This rose by 8% in their 2017 equivalent survey. Of those business, 82% felt that video marketing was an essential marketing strategy, with 97% saying that a video helped consumer understanding of their product or service.

But what does Video Marketing do?

Basically, consumers would rather watch a video about a product or service, than read about it. It’s often easier to understand, less time consuming and more visually stimulating. Think of it in terms of a movie trailer. If you wanted to see what films were showing at your local cinema, would you read about each one, or watch a trailer of the ones that catch your eye? And if you like the look of the trailer, you go and see the movie. It’s the same principle with a marketing video. An interesting video draws people to your company website, and is proven to convert those visits into sales.

But it’s not just immediate sales that come as a result of the right video. A video can also be used on social media, promotional emails, or as a back drop to a networking event to increase traffic to your website…..resulting in MORE sales. It really is a win/win situation.
